About The Role

Our stunning coastal-inspired venue, Longshore, is seeking experienced section waiters to bring their passion for hospitality, exceptional service, and refined wine knowledge to our team.

With hospitality in your DNA, you embody the warmth, skill, and connection that elevate every guest interaction into a memorable experience. At Longshore, you’ll have the opportunity to craft moments that reflect our love for the Australian coastline and our commitment to excellence in every detail.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience as a Section Waiter in restaurants and are eager to join a team that values learning, growth, and professional development. Weekend availability is essential.

  • Deliver exceptional table service, ensuring every guest experience is warm, memorable, and aligned with Longshore’s coastal-inspired ethos.
  • Utilise strong wine knowledge to provide expert recommendations and pairings that enhance the dining experience.
  • Manage and maintain your section efficiently, from greeting guests to overseeing smooth table turnovers.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Uphold Longshore’s standards of sustainability, skill, and storytelling in every aspect of the guest experience.

Bartender
Sommelier
Bar Supervisor
Waitstaff
Waitstaff (Fine Dining)

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Section Waiter or Supervisor in renowned restaurants, showcasing your ability to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A strong knowledge of wine, with the confidence to recommend pairings that elevate each dish and enrich the guest experience. (WSET preferred, but not essential).
  • A natural warmth and genuine passion for hospitality, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression.
